Description

The overflow siphon DN 200 is a robust and efficient component designed for cisterns and rainwater storage tanks with a connection diameter of DN 200. Constructed from durable polyethylene, it is ideal for use with the WFF 300 vortex fine filter. The siphon, when filled with water, weighs approximately 60 kg, ensuring stability. This overflow unit, placed inside a water storage tank, prevents drain odors and vermin from entering the tank while effectively removing floating debris from the water surface.

The siphon connects directly to a standard DN 200 pipe with an integrated rubber bushing. The water inlet should be positioned at the height of the tank’s maximum water level, allowing excess water to exit through the siphon. Floating debris and lightweight particles are automatically washed into the sewage, keeping the water surface clean and in contact with air, which is essential for maintaining long-lasting fresh water quality.

When in normal use, the siphon holds 50 liters of water, contributing to its total weight of around 60 kg. The overflow siphon DN 200 features an odor seal and vermin guard, enhancing its protective capabilities. For secure installation, the siphon must be supported by two stainless steel chains, each one meter in length, attached to the ceiling or wall above. Additionally, a small pipe with a diameter of 50 mm should be cut to support the siphon correctly.

The outgoing pipe should have a gradient of approximately 2 to 3% to ensure proper drainage. Proper installation, including sealing the outgoing siphon pipe watertight against the tank wall, is crucial for optimal function. Commercially available seals or liquid sealants should be used to achieve this.
