Description

The DAB ESYBOX Max by DAB Pumps is an integrated water booster pumping system designed for water pressurization in commercial building services. Available in two power sizes, it consists of modular elements that allow different configurations to meet the needs of medium to large condominiums and high-rise buildings, even those exceeding 14 floors. Each unit can be used with a single, double, or triple connection base, and the pumping units can be configured into a four-pump system with an additional kit that connects two double bases. The modular construction allows for the assembly of the pumping groups directly at the installation site, adhering to the O.S.A. concept. The quiet operation and compact dimensions make it suitable for installation in all rooms, including inhabited spaces. It is certified under CSA C22.2 No. 108-14 – 5th Ed. for Liquid Pumps, UL 778 6th Ed. for Motor Operated Water Pumps, NSF 61 for Drinking Water, and NSF 372 for Drinking Water with Low Lead Content.

Construction Features of the Pump

The pump is an electronic vertical multi-impeller type, equipped with a display, pressure sensors on both intake and delivery, a non-return valve on delivery, and an integrated expansion tank. The pump body and impellers are made from technopolymer with a steel jacket.

Construction Features of the Motor

The motor is a water-cooled, permanent magnet type with a stainless steel motor jacket and a motor shaft made from AISI 303 stainless steel.

Construction Features of the Electronics

The variable frequency drive maintains constant pressure by adjusting the motor’s revolutions according to demand. The expansion module (esy I/O, available as an accessory) enables the ESYBOX Max to interface with other system elements (BMS). Integrated protections include safeguards against dry running, amperometric and abnormal voltages, overheating, freezing, anti-blocking, and anti-cycling.
