As rainwater flows through the horizontal inlet pipe, it enters the filter in a dynamic vortex motion, harnessing water’s natural adhesive forces. This process drives the water through a vertical fine filter, ensuring only clean water passes through to your storage tank while filtered dirt particles are directed to the storm drain.

Achieving optimal performance, the filter insert reaches peak efficiency once its mesh is fully saturated, typically within 2 minutes from initial use. This feature makes the WFF300 an ideal “first flush” rainwater pre-filter, meeting stringent standards like ARCSA/ASPE/ANSI Standard 63 for Rainwater Catchment Systems.
